The MIT wrestling team traveled to Plymouth State University on Saturday, January 12th to compete at the Jim Aguiar Invitational.  MIT finished in 10th place as a team.  Freshman, 125 pounder Keith Skaggs was 4 and 1 on the day finishing in 3rd place.  Keith lost his first match and then won 4 straight and in the process defeated the wrestler who beat him in the first round.  He greatly improved from match to match.  Jacob Adams went 2 and 2 at 149 pounds.  Jonathon Brown went 1 and 1 at heavyweight and had to default out due to an ankle injury.  Frank Soucy lost 2 hard fought matches at 174.  You can review the results at: https://arena.flowrestling.org/event/b8db89ea-aba9-4f9d-a32d-6bf6fe678752

The team travels to Mesquite, Nevada next Thursday, January 26th to compete at the NCWA National Duals.  Wrestling starts Friday, January 27th at 10am.
