Bristol, RI -The MIT Wrestling Team traveled to the Roger Williams Tournament in Bristol, Rhode Island on November 12th.  The tournament had 4 of the top 10 NCAA division III teams.  MIT finished in 12th place. Highlights were senior, Joe Lowman getting his first win of the year and finishing 1 and 2 on the day.  Junior, Trevor Romero also got his first win of the season via a pin and finished 1 and 2 on the day.  Senior, Jose Velarde got his 2nd win of the season and also finished 1 and 2.  The others wrestled well but came up short.  The coaches saw a lot of positive things to build on.  Every guy gave a great effort in every match.  What we are most proud of is that they never stopped wrestling no matter what the score was.  They all showed tremendous  effort, determination and grit.  The team travels to Springfield College on November 19th to compete in the Doug Parker Invitational.
